About

The Exemplary Performance Awards, organized annually by the GRIHA Council, recognize projects that demonstrate outstanding commitment to sustainable building performance. The awards provide recognition, credibility, visibility, and opportunities, while encouraging continuous improvement in sustainable development.
Projects are evaluated across key sustainability parameters, including passive architectural design, energy management, sustainable building materials and technologies, integrated water management, resource efficiency, and overall environmental performance.

The Exemplary Performance Award is different from the normal GRIHA rating. A GRIHA rating evaluates overall project performance, whereas an Exemplary Performance Award highlights exceptional achievement in particular sustainability categories.
