GRIHA Council is pleased to announce the GRIHA Regional Conclave, Pune, themed around "Pathways for a Low Carbon Future: Buildings to Infrastructure", scheduled for Wednesday, 30th September 2026 in Pune, Maharashtra. The regional conclave will bring together key stakeholders from the building and construction sector to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore innovative approaches towards sustainable development.
As an associated event of the conclave, a Green Building Tour is being organized on 29th September 2026, a day prior to the conclave. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the SARTHI Head Office Building, Pune, which is aspiring for a GRIHA Existing Building (EB) rating.
Participants will:
- Gain insights into the sustainable measures and operational strategies implemented to enhance the environmental performance of an existing building.
- Understand the application of the GRIHA Existing Building (EB) rating framework.
- Learn about the roles of the architect, green building consultant, and maintenance team in implementing sustainable practices.
- Explore key measures related to energy efficiency, water management, resource conservation, and sustainable operations.
- Participate in a guided walkthrough and interactive discussion with project stakeholders.
