3 Day Training Programme (Mumbai)
We successfully concluded the third of the multi-city series of training programmes on GRIHA v.2019 in Mumbai during 6-8 December 2023. These events give us and the participants, opportunities to learn and grow our professional networks; along with engaging in meaningful discussions. The enthusiastic group comprised 21 participants. The We look forward to engaging with more stakeholders in our upcoming training programmes. Our next training programme is scheduled in New Delhi and Guwahati.

HUDCO HSMI-eITEC training programme
HUDCO’s HSMI (Human Settlement Management Institute)-eITEC organized ‘Five Days Online Training Programme on Decarbonizing Habitat Programme- Meeting the Global Targets’ from 27th November to 01st December 2023. Experts from GRIHA Council delivered sessions on understanding of carbon markets in global and Indian context, Government of India’s initiatives aligned to SDGs, national commitments and climate goals, strategies to reduce carbon footprint in the new and existing built environment and integrate sustainability in the planning of smart cities.
The training programme was attended by overseas professionals from Algeria, Egypt, Mauritius, and Myanmar working in housing and urban development sector.

GRIHA Trophy at NASA (2023 - 2024)
Design Brief
GRIHA Council and NASA India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly promote the concept of green buildings and sustainable habitat through the GRIHA platform and sensitize students towards sustainable design. As part of this MoU, GRIHA Council and NASA cooperate to execute the GRIHA trophy at the Annual NASA conventions.
Students from NASA member colleges across the country participate to compete for the GRIHA Trophy, and the entries are evaluated by a jury of distinguished experts. This year marks the 10th edition of the GRIHA Trophy at NASA.
The brief for this year’s competition involves designing of a "Multifunctional Promenade Development at Puri, Odisha" incorporating innovative strategies that transcend conventional boundaries.
