GRIHA Council organized a one-day training programme on SVAGRIHA (Small Versatile Affordable GRIHA) rating system in association with Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Dhankawadi, Pune on 26th July 2019. The training programme was initiated with a brief introduction of GRIHA Council, followed by a detailed presentation on various aspects of SVAGRIHA rating system. It focused on landscape, architecture, energy, waste, water, materials and lifestyle to enable participants understand the rating system. Subsequently, the participants were also engaged with hands-on demo of the online SVAGRIHA tool, to reiterate the simplicity of the tool.

The training programme was attended by 31 number of professionals and students from Pune city and nearby region. Participants found the training programme useful and knowledgeable. They expressed interest to participate in upcoming 3-day training programme and showed inclination towards becoming GRIHA Evaluator and Certified Professional (CP).
