GRIHA Council organized a one-day training programme on SVAGRIHA (Simple Versatile Affordable GRIHA) rating system in association with Prestige Institute of Engineering management and Research at Indore on 23rd September 2019. The training programme was initiated with a brief introduction of GRIHA Council, followed by a detailed presentation on various aspects of SVAGRIHA rating system. It focused on landscape, architecture, energy, waste, water, materials and lifestyle to enable participants to understand the rating system. Subsequently, the participants were also engaged with a hands-on demo of the online SVAGRIHA tool, to reiterate the simplicity of the tool.

The training programme was attended by 22 professionals and students from Indore and nearby region. Participants found the training programme useful and knowledgeable. They expressed their interest to participate in the upcoming 3-day training programme and showed an inclination towards becoming GRIHA Evaluator and Certified Professional (CP).
