GRIHA Council is organizing a combined 2-day training programme on the variants GRIHA EB (Existing Buildings) and SVAGRIHA (Simple, Versatile, Affordable GRIHA) for the first time. Participants will have the flexibility to opt to attend either or both of the training programmes. The faculty for both the training programmes will be from GRIHA Council.

The training programme on GRIHA EB on 7th November 2019, will focus on site parameters, maintenance, housekeeping, energy, water, occupant health & comfort and social aspects with respect to existing buildings. Each criterion was explained through a presentation followed by exercises and hands on session on the feasibility tool.

SVAGRIHA training on 8th November 2019, will focus on a brief introduction of the rating, along with detailed presentation on various aspects of SVAGRIHA rating system such as landscape, architecture, energy, waste, water, materials and so on to enable participants understand the rating system followed by hands-on demonstration on online SVAGRIHA tool, to further elaborate the simplicity of rating system.

Separate certificates will be awarded to each participant for the training programmes.
