3-Day GRIHA V 2015 Training Programme at Gurugram
A 3-day intensive GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) training programme was organized by GRIHA Council from 1st to 3rd of May, 2019 at Clarks inn hotel, Gurugram, Haryana - to enhance the knowledge on green buildings and GRIHA rating parameters for building professionals and students. The aim of the training programme was also to identify evaluators and certified professionals for facilitating and promoting the GRIHA rating system PAN India.
The programme focused on sustainable site planning, water and wastewater management, building design optimization, energy performance optimization, renewable energy utilization, solid waste management, sustainable building material and construction technology, health, wellbeing and environmental quality. Each session was carried out with presentations of the respective criteria followed by group exercises as well as individual exercises for the participants.
Reference material and presentations made during the programme were also made available to each participant. The workshop was attended by 45 building professionals like architects, engineers, policy makers and students.
