3-Day GRIHA V 2015 Training Programme at Pune
A three-day intensive training programme was organized by GRIHA Council from 16th September to 18th September 2019 at the Pride Hotel,Shiwaji Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra to give a detailed understanding of the GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) rating system, to industry professionals and various stakeholders.
The aim of the training programme was to enable participants understand the intent of the national green building rating system. Compliances and appraisals under various focus areas like sustainable site planning, water, energy efficiency, sustainable building materials and so on were explained in detail, during these three days of the training programme. Each session included presentation of the respective criterion followed by either group exercise or individual exercises for better understanding of the rating system. Reference material and presentations made during the programme were made available to each participant.
The workshop was attended by 45 participants from various backgrounds such as architects, engineers, students and others. Participants found this training very informative and have expressed interest to be associated with GRIHA Council in the capacity of Certified Professional and Evaluator.
