GRIHA Council successfully conducted a Green Building Tour to "Net Zero Carbon Homes" in Mohali, a project aspiring for a SVA GRIHA rating, on 18th February 2025. The tour was a resounding success, offering participants an insightful and first hand experience of sustainable building practices.

Held at Net Zero Carbon Homes site in Mohali, Punjab, the tour showcased a range of innovative strategies integrated into the building design to achieve resource efficiency and sustainability. Professionals, students, and enthusiasts from the field of green architecture and construction explored the project’s cutting-edge features, gaining valuable insights into how such designs contribute to a greener future. The event truly lived up to its promise of serving as an inspiring case study for all delegates.

The event commenced with an interactive session that allowed participants to engage with the project’s architect's team and management team who explained the sustainable elements of the project, sparking meaningful discussions on the importance of adopting eco-friendly practices in the built environment. The event not only highlighted the potential of green buildings but also reinforced the need to raise awareness about sustainable living.

This tour was organized as an associated event with GRIHA Regional Conclave in Chandigarh, and the enthusiastic participation reflected the growing interest in green initiatives.
