Launch of GRIHA-Prakriti Rating for Existing schools
GRIHA-Prakriti Rating for Sustainable Schools was successfully launched by Dr Leena Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, TERI University on 28 October at National School Educators' Conference 2013, Innovation and Leadership for 'Education for Sustainable Development' organized by 'The Educating Youth for Sustainable Development division' at TERI-GRAM.
About 250 educators across the country participated in the event. GRIHA-Prakriti Rating for Sustainable Schools fosters a whole school approach to change for sustainability with measurable environmental, educational and social outcomes. This training cum rating module will focuses on training, rating and assessment of the school. This will help to develop a responsible attitude of the students and teachers to cater reduction of wasteful consumption, caring for environment, engrossing healthier and greener lifestyles.
