One day students training program at NASA
One day student's training programme on "Sustainability with GRIHA" was conducted by GRIHA Council, as part of 66th Annual NASA convention at GITAM School of Architecture, Vishakhapatnam on November 18th, 2023. The training programme was initiated with a brief introduction of GRIHA, followed by a detailed presentation on various aspects of GRIHA V2019 rating such as site planning, water and energy efficiency, sustainable building materials, socio-economic strategies, solid waste management, life cycle costing, life cycle analysis and so on to enable students to understand the rating system. The same was followed by a quiz session.
The programme was attended by more than 70 students from various architectural colleges across India. Students found the training programme very knowledgeable and useful to add value to their design in future.
