GRIHA Council organized a one day training programme on SVAGRIHA (Small Versatile Affordable GRIHA) rating system at PWD office, Aurangabad on 19thSeptember 2018. The training programme was inaugurated by Shri. K.T Patil, Chief Engineer, Public Works Region, Aurangabad, which was followed by a brief introduction of GRIHA- the national green building rating system, and then a detailed presentation on each criterion of the SVAGRIHA rating system. The participants were also engaged with hands-on demo of the online SVAGRIHA tool, to reiterate the simplicity of the tool and the rating system as a whole. The programme was attended by 58 officials from across Aurangabad region, including Jalna, Hingoli, Parbhani, Nanded, Beed, Latur and Osmanabad. The training programme was very helpful, easy to understand, the online tool was user friendly and simple; were some of the feedback from the participants and it was concluded on a positive note.
