Human Settlement Management Institute (HSMI), the Training and Research wing of Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) under the aegis of Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MOHUA), GoI has organized a 4-week training programme, sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), GoI, under the ITEC initiative. It was targeted for overseas professionals from developing countries on “Formal Solutions to Informal Settlements” from March 20th to April 14th, 2023.

The programme had a specific module on “Options for Rehabilitation, Provision of Basic Services and Infrastructure”, under the ambit of which a session on “Green Social Housing” was delivered by Mr. Akash Deep, Senior Programme Manager, GRIHA Council.
