Perceived high cost of green buildings is one of the most prominent hurdle in adoption and implementation of green buildings across the country. Therefore, ADaRSH and TERI conducted a two day workshop on 'Cost and Value of Green Buildings' for professionals associated with the building and construction industry at IHC, New Delhi. Detailed interaction on life cycle assessment of green buildings, ResBuild and SVA GRIHA tools provided a hands on experience to participants that included representation from leading architectural practices and developers in NCR. The concepts discussed during the programme were received well by the audience, with promise to integrate green design strategies in their upcoming projects.
