The warming of the planet is expected to have far-reaching, long-lasting and even disastrous environmental consequences. Longer droughts, increased intensities of rainfall, frequent flooding and bushfires are just a few outcomes of climate change that have manifested in recent years.

As a part of the MoU signed between GRIHA Council and the Indian Institute of Architects, Northern Chapter, a one day training programme on SVAGRIHA (Small Versatile Affordable GRIHA) rating system was conducted on 25th September, 2021.

GRIHA Council conducted a 6-Day intensive training programme on the DOs and DON'Ts of GRIHA Version 2015 documentation. The programme was conducted for 6 days, on Thursdays and Fridays for 3 consecutive weeks; staring from 22nd July 2021 and concluding on 6th August 2021.

Every year on June 5 World Environment Day is celebrated to spread awareness among people to conserve the environment for a healthy and better future.
